Big Show will be competing in the champion of Champions match this weekend at Cyber sunday. While it is unknown whether his ECW Championship will be on the line during that match, it has just been announced that the ECW Championship will be on the line in an Elimination Chamber match at ECW'S December to Dismember on December 3. Rob Van Dam earned a spot in the match by beating the Big show in a ladder match last week on ECW on Sci Fi. This match will be the first time that the ECW Championship will be defended on an ECW PPV event since 2001.
While on the topic of the future of ECW, the newly reborn company has hit a speed bump in their return to prominence. The WWE has announced that starting in late december, there will be no more ECW house shows. The ECW roster will now tour with the SmackDown roster.
